The Samsung Galaxy S III is expected to be launched tomorrow at a Samsung Unpacked Event in London. Ahead of the release, rumors have refused to cease. The latest to sprout up is courtesy of SamMobile, to whom the tip was sent in anonymously. Check out the images below:

A published image of the Settings also shows the model number to be GT-i9300, lending some credibility to this image.

These images just add to the pile of images already out there, all of them supposed to be the hotly anticipated upcoming device. The hype and the sheer amount of rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S III go to show that pretty much everybody is waiting for this device to be released. Generally, only Apple smartphones have previously enjoyed this level of excitement and speculation before release. Apart from all the rumors we have seen, from the device being said to be only 7 mm thick to press photo leaks, even a video popped up sometime in April. The video claimed to show the third generation GT-I9300,
Coming back to the latest supposed photo of the Samsung Galaxy S III, this image might just be of a prototype. The Samsung Galaxy S III is reportedly being tested by certain people, but the device is enclosed in plastic, allowing for the device’s internal components to be tested while maintaining secrecy. This rumor is supported by the fact that most leaks so far show a physical home button and two capacitive buttons, which is in direct contrast with Google’s recommendation to manufacturers that they use the software buttons embedded in Android 4.0 ICS.
As far as other rumors are concerned, another recent one claims that the device will be seen in two colors, blue and white, like the two blobs on the invitation to the Samsung event. This is thanks to an inventory leak from a UK phone retailer. A 4.8 inch screen protector alleged to be for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III also points to the screen being slightly larger than most expected it to be.

The S III is expected to come with an impressive set of specs and features; the ones most mentioned are a classy ceramic casing, a 1080p full HD display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor etc. However, we’re not sure if the device looking like it does in the images above is going to cut it, especially if it is to compete with the good looking and overall impressive HTC One Series and the upcoming iPhone 5 as well. All the hype preceding the launch has also upped the excitement and expectations are high.
Excitement is at an all time high so it’s good that there is now only one day to go before we find out which rumor, if any, was spot on and what exactly Samsung has in store for us. Stay tuned!
