Jailbreak iOS 6 Beta 4 Using Redsn0w 0.9.13 dev3

Apple released iOS 6 Beta 4 for developers just a few hours back. Just moments back, MuscleNerd tweeted that developers can jailbreak iOS 6 beta using Redsn0w 0.9.13 dev3.

 

Here is a step by step guide on how to jaibreak iOS 6 beta 4 using Redsn0w 0.9.13 dev3:

 

Step 1: Download Redsn0w 0.9.13dev3.

RedSn0w 0.9.13dev3 (OS X)

RedSn0w 0.9.13dev3 (Windows – run in Administrator Mode)

Step 2: Run Redsn0w. Device should be in DFU mode.

Step 3: Navigate to Extras > Select IPSW in Redsn0w. Point to your iOS 6 beta 3 firmware and once your firmware is successfully identified by Redsn0w and wait for it to notify you.

Step 4: Select the ‘Jailbreak’ option from Redsn0w’s main page. Make sure ‘Install SSH’ is checked.

Step 5: After the jailbreak process ends, and you’re back to the homescreen place your iDevice back into DFU mode. Repeat Step 3.

Step 6: Under Extras, select the Just Boot option. A tethered boot will then be performed on your device.

If followed correctly, you will be able to jailbreak iOS 6 using Redsn0w 0.9.13 dev3.
