Following the long awaited release of Absinthe 2.0, the Chronic Dev Team pushed out another version, Absinthe 2.0.1 for Mac, Windows and Linux. This update is meant to fix a small number of bugs present in the original release.
As far as Windows users are concerned they can still simply use Absinthe 2.0 to perform an untethered jailbreak on iOS devices running 5.1.1. Check the detailed guide below and follow the steps to finally get the untethered jailbreak running on your device:

Step 1: Download Absinthe 2.0 for Windows.
Step 2: Extract, and right click on the absinthe-win-2.0.exe icon and select the ‘Run as Administrator’ option. This first file is a self extracting zip file. When you’re done with this, a new folder will be created on your desktop called absinthe-win-2.0 containing the necessary files.
Step 3: Open the absinthe-win-2.0 and right click on the absinthe.exe icon, then select Run as Administrator.
Step 4: Connect the iOS 5.1.1 device that you wish to jailbreak, and confirm that Absinthe recognizes the correct name of your device.
Step 5: Click the jailbreak button that you will see in Absinthe, and let it run. You should see a progress bar now.
Step 6: At some point it will look like your device is going through a restore. Don’t be alarmed by this, it is normal and to be expected.
Step 7: Once the device has completed this “restore”, you should be able to see the very welcome Cydia icon on your home screen.
Step 8: Wait till Absinthe reports that progress is complete. You can then close Absinthe and disconnect your device.
Step 9: Open Cydia and let it configure itself for the first time. Congratulations! You have successfully jailbroken your iOS 5.1.1 device!
Let us know how it goes for you.
