A new report from CENS.com suggests that Apple will be beginning the production of its third generation iPad 3 this October. The report further states Samsung to have left Apple for good in terms of an iPad display supplier. According to the report, Apple has finalized deals with the current iPad 2 suppliers for iPad 3 which is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2012. Thus, LG display and Hon Hai Precision Industry Ltd will continue with Apple in the future.

In place of Samsung, Apple is expected to come up with Japan’s Sharp for the production of the displays for iPad 3 later this year. Hon Hai Precision Industry Ltd will be accompanied by Pegatron Corp as another iPad assembler later this year. There is yet to be any confirmation on the credibility of this report but for now it aligns up exactly with few rumors over the launch of iPad 3 in 2012.
