You really don’t have to wait on Apple’s website for it or wait for your turn from the huge expected traffic or Bring your iPhone to Apple Store. Instead, Apple has come up with a very interesting approach and it involves a tiny little app.
iPhone 4 Case Program is a new app Apple has introduced to handle the problem and now you can order your free case or claim your refund using your iPhone 4.
Here is a step by step guide on how to do that.
Step 1:
You need iTunes for this, get the latest version here.
Step 2:
Look for iPhone 4 Case Program
Step 2: Install iPhone 4 Case Program on your device.
Step 3: Sign in with your iTunes account.
Step 4: Once you are in, choose from the Bumpers and Cases. There are couple of nice options you can choose from.
Step 5: Although it is a free app, but iTunes will confirm your billing address and billing source (Credit Card, PayPal etc.). This normally doesn’t happen with any other free apps. So go ahead and enter your shipping and rest of the details
That’s it, expect your free Bumper Case in 3-5 weeks which is kind of a very long period but then again Apple has millions of requests to handle and I don’t think they have so many cases just waiting to be shipped.
