Its only been 36 hours since the untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 was released through Absinthe tool for Mac. A CLI (command based tool) was released for Mac an Windows but that was a bit technical for an everyday user who is not much familiarized with commands. Absinthe is an easy to use tool that has been developed by Chronic Dev Team and it jailbreaks your iPhone4S or iPad 2 in a matter of minutes. Released a few hours back, the Windows version allows you to jailbreak iPhone 4S (5.0.1 – 5.0) and iPad 2 (5.0.1) untethered.
Download Greenpois0n Absinthe 0.2 for Windows from here. Update your device to iOS 5.0.1 and run the downloaded one click jailbreak tool. Connect your device and hit the Jailbreak button. Sit back and do not do anything silly and wait for Absinthe to finish the insallation processes.
Your device will reboot and you’ll notice the Absinthe icon on yoru springboard. Tap on it and follow the instructions to install Cydia and that’s it. No need to type all the commands in CMD, this is a one click jailbreak and this should work fine without any Fatal Errors.
