iOS hacker Planetbeing spoke to Reddit and gave updates on the status of iOS 6 Jailbreak. According to Planetbeing, iOS 6.0.2 Untethered Jailbreak is working on his iPhone 5. iOS users have been waiting for the untethered jailbreak ever since the new OS was released and they might have to wait further till the release of iOS 6.1 as jailbreak developers are planning on releasing iOS 6.1 Untethered Jailbreak and not the one iOS 6.0.2 as they don’t want Apple to fix the bugs and exploits.
iPhone 5 and iOS 6 users have anxiously been waiting for an untethered jailbreak for their device. Apple, however, will have none of that; Apple has tightened up security in iOS 6.1. According to security expert and iOS hacker Stefan Esser who goes by the alias of i0n1c has tweeted the following:
