Cases Manufactured For A Thinner, 4-Inch iPhone 5 With Smaller Dock Connector

Every year, the expected release of an Apple device is preceded by various rumors and speculations. Some rumors end up to be spot on while others are just exaggerated and never happen. This year, an online company seems so sure of what Apple will offer with their upcoming sixth generation iPhone that they have gone out on a limb and already manufactured cases for the device. These cases, which are roomier and can accommodate a 4-inch screen iPhone with a smaller dock connector, are for sale over at China’s TVC-Mall.com.

The protective cases also show a headphone jack, now at the bottom of the device. Since the company can’t actually guarantee that the iPhone 5 will actually be thinner and taller with a smaller dock connector, a warning accompanies the images of the cases saying that use with iPhone 5 cannot be guaranteed.

A level of credibility is lent to this by the fact that someone from the Apple supply chain often leaks information to manufacturers of cases and such, before the actual release of the device. Whether the iPhone 5 will actually be like what TVC-Mall.com seems to think it will be like can only be told after the final release, though.

Other rumors circulating the web seem to corroborate with these cases though. Many sources have claimed that Apple’s next iPhone will be taller than the iPhone 4S and a 4” screen has been mentioned several times. The 30-pin dock connector is also expected to be replaced by a 19-pin one. Leaked photos of the allegedly official front panel of the iPhone 5 have shown a centered FaceTime camera as well.

The iPhone 5 is also expected to be released in September/October, a year after iPhone 4S was. This will allow Apple to capitalize on holiday sales too.
