Apple gearing up for a cheaper 8GB iPhone 4 launch this September, iPhone 4S?

According to Reuters, apple is working on a low priced 8 GB version for iPhone 4 that it intends to release along with iPhone 5 later this year. This report highlighted apple to have started getting a flash drive for its 8 GB iPhone 4 manufactured by a Korean company.

The flash drive for the 8GB iPhone 4 is being manufactured by a Korean company, one of the people said on Tuesday, declining to name the company. Apple currently sources its flash drives from Japan’s Toshiba and South Korea’s Samsung Electronics.

It is still not confirmed that this is iPhone 4S that Apple intended to release later this year but it will surely be what Apple has wanted to do this year, to target mid-range smart phone markets.

the existing iPhone 4, will have a bigger touch screen, better antenna and an 8-megapixel camera, one of the people said.

iPhone 5 is expected to launch in September/October with a iPhone 3GS like design according to few reports and is expected to feature a high 8 Mega-pixel camera.
